5、放生是救命行为，功德无量，是其他小善举无法比拟的！

7.“佛若慈悲，就放业。所有的男人都是我的父亲，所有的女人都是我的母亲，我靠他们活着。所以六道众生都是我的父母，杀生吃的人，就是杀了我的父母，也杀了我的肉身。所有的地水都是我的身体，所有的火风都是我的本体。所以我经常练习放生法，活生法，长生法，教放法。如果你看到这个世界在屠杀动物，你应该方便去救助它们，解决它们的痛苦。”

8.“不杀生是一切戒律之首，释放是一切善之首。

9.“摆脱业障的最好方法就是让它自由。世间最大的恶业就是杀人。反过来说，人世间最大的善业就是戒杀解脱，所以解脱就是最大的功德。如果你听从我的建议，你可以迅速购买生物并将其释放，你将能够增加你的快乐并延长你的寿命。”

10.“放生是为了救他的命，减轻他的痛苦。佛家戒律是不杀头的。天道有好生之德。可想而知，功德无量。”
